Mind you. This is as ironic as it gets.
On Friday, the View’s co-host Sunny Hostin and guest host, Ana Navarro, were pulled out from live broadcast after it was confirmed that both tested positive for COVID-19.
And this was just mere moments after Hostin and Navarro were seen and heard airing their complaints about people who are still yet to have their vaccine jabs while the graphic “Experts: vaccinated not as likely to spread COVID” flashed on the screen.
Co-host Joy Behar announced the two’s abrupt departure after a quick commercial break. “Ana and Sunny have to leave,” she said. “We’ll tell you why in a couple of minutes.” Another commercial break ensued, and then Behar dropped the bombshell.
“Since this is going to be a major news story any minute now, what happened is Sunny and Ana both tested positive for COVID,” Behar announced. She also pointed out that both have already been vaccinated and are deemed as “breakthrough cases.”
“No matter how hard we try, these things happen,” Behar added. “They probably have a breakthrough case, and they’ll be okay, I’m sure, because they’re both vaccinated up the wazoo.”
