Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett delivers a shocking announcement to all fully vaccinated Israelis in his recent address to the nation. According to Bennett, the most vulnerable part of the population is young adults who had received two jabs in the past and did not get their third (booster) shot yet.
The most vulnerable population at the moment, in a paradoxical manner, are the ones who received two vaccine doses, but not the third dose.
A shocking message was delivered as the number of hospitalizations with severe symptoms climbed to beat all previous records. The doctors on the ground confirm that a staggering 80 to 90% of hospitalized with severe symptoms are fully vaccinated citizens.
Dr. Kobi Haviv, the director of Herzog Hospital in Jerusalem, in his recent interview with a local TV station said:
Most if the population is vaccinated, and 85% to 90% of the hospitalizations here are fully vaccinated people. Yes, unfortunately the effectiveness of the vaccine is waning.
This announcement comes as a surprise for those who were confident in the effectiveness of the jab and were hoping to get back to normal in the near future. Israel was one of those countries that had most of the population vaccinated very early this year, but unfortunately, it seems that the effectiveness of the vaccines now might be questioned, and with it, the necessity of vaccinating young adults, as more dangerous side effects being discovered.
